Client came to SPL needing to transport a unit as the hauler was not able to obtain permits. SPL provided an expedited railcar and rail clearance to be able to load the unit and put into temporary storage.
SPL was able to provide project management at the port and store temporary near destination. Working closely with the railroads we were able to obtain a clearance and expedite the railcar for loading.
SPL worked with a rail siding that was under construction. This delayed the project many weeks however SPL was able to put the transformer in temporary storage until siding was finalized and ready to receive. SPL coordinated with the siding and was able to rail the unit safely while the construction at siding was still ongoing.
